Stacey, 35, has osteogenesis imperfecta, which means she failed to grow.

When u love someone unconditionally, what they look like on the outside is not an issue. Just because someone is with a person who looks different, it doesn't automatically mean they have a fetish. What about people who fall in love with amputees or burn victims?
Sadly, its very rare these days, but some people actually fall in love with peoples PERSONALITIES.
i hate to be judgemental, but i'ma gonna say it: How can she be a proper mother to her children? i'm not saying she should be denied to love and joy of parenthood, as there are many that are unfit mothers, and many mothers than can be great despite their handicaps. But she can't chase them, carry them if they get hurt, drive them, and countless other things that mothers must do day-to-day. I just hope her children live normal lives and don't get harassed because of this, and have no ill-effects because of their mother's afflictions.
There is a person called a father. Why should it only be the mothers responsibility to carry the chilren, drive them, chase them, etc? Just because she probably won't be able to carry them, doesn't mean she can't love them just as much as any other mother out there.

she’s being selfish and dumb, because, as you can see in the pictures she already has a son with the disease, there are big chances that her next kid will suffer it. if she already has 2 kids (notice the girl is healthy, she should have stopped there) why not stopping? why taking the risk of bringing a sick baby to this world just to suffer only because a selfish mother wanted a third child.

The other two in the picture are her daughters and neither of them are suffering from the disease.
If you look at the pictures you will notice the child is not a boy and is a still a little baby hence why she is small.
I think this woman will probably be a better mother than some of the posters here as she will probably make more of an effort to look after the children.

you're the dumb one, how can you sit there and judge whether or not bringing a sick child into the world is a good choice or not. How do YOU KNOW that this child is going to suffer. Are you going to sit there and tell me that any one person that suffers a disease shouldn't reproduce for chance that they're child might end up the same way? This is the reality or the world we live in, people are born and die from diseases everyday… but who's to say that we should deny them the chance at a normal life?!? everyone who has responded to this so far not only lack hearts, but brains also! its not a freak show, fetish or selfish! she is a human being like anyone else and deserves the chance to have a happy family! anyone can have a baby with o.i. i am the only one born in my family with o.i. and its not something that will necessarily be passed on. my fiance is 6'2 and i am 3'4 and while some of you might think that's disgusting or weird, i feel sorry for you, because i know that our love is not superficial. its not based on physical like most. we have a friendship, and love truer than most can boast to have. i applaud her for being brave enough to give life to her children. she is just living her dream of having a family and she has a truly devoted and loving husband to help her with the kids. some people just have a shallow view of life and that is just pathetic!

Well you did a great job of being grown up too didn’t you. By the way i’m proud to say i’m not a cheerleader okay, i would never be caught dead being one. And as i will admit that to you it would seem like i’m being hypocritical but the people I called shallow i at least had good reason to. I was stating that they jumped to a conclusion without even knowing the lady and decided to call her “sick” or “an unfit mother” . Only shallow people would judge someone in that way just because she has a growth deficiency. I actually bothered to read these posts and just doing that showed me that most of these people would turn someone down and gossip about how disgusting they think you are just because of the way you look. So go ahead call me a hypocritical cheerleader but at least i’m not heartless.

This woman will do great raising her children than most young mothers now in days that get pregnant and end up giving there child to the grand parents because they don’t take responsibility for them. Who cares what Stacey looks like? She’s having her THIRD child against the advice of her doctor. Why? Does this world really need another person on it, whether this individual family can afford it or not? She already has 2 children and a loving husband. Is another child really worth the risk of not surviving the pregnancy?

I know this is old but thought i would post anyways. Its no ones place to judge. Shes very nice she lives some what close to me she purchased a bed and carseat from me thats how i met her. Shes one of the nicest people ive ever met and she loves those kids she told me about how she was buying my sons bed for her daughter . And her husband is very kind to you can tell they are very much in love!

Um…they should have had genetic counselling before they had kids.
As much as they want children, they ARE passing the mother's defect genes to the kids. One kid already has it. The other on the dad's lap is fine but what about the third one? Boys are more susceptible to genetic defects. They look like a well-off family.
Genetic counselling should really have been an option.

Only an illiterate person, which is obvious you are based on your inability to spell or speak/type correctly. Its right not rite. Assume you were the product of some incest and you father is also your grandfather, maybe your childs father if you have one. Don’t judge a father by simply placement of a hand. Most men are very uneasy about taking care of daughters because of people like you. I have 2 daughters and wouldn’t even give them a bath for the first year without my wife present. Screw you.
