  4. Pope Benedict XII says:

Tattoos are vulgar, demeaning, debasing, tacky and just plain classless and UGLY! Most of the cretins in society hate themselves, and have a HUGE need to conform. They also do it as a means of "flogging" themselves to display their major sense of self-loathing. To add insult to injury, in most cases, they spend inordinate sums of money on this atrocious crap, when often, they are at the bottom of the economic scale. How utterly PATHETIC!

    • Darth Levada says:

Bless you my son!–(I'm too pooped to "Pope"……..

    • blow me says:

u must not think much of yourself , that you have to worry so much about someone elses tattoos , what a whine ass , i love flogging , hahaha , u are the one that is utterly pathetic , i am utterly pathetic & love it , bitch

    • CO_MtnGrl_Jaye says:

You forgot to mention the people who get tattos to honor a loved one or have something in life WORTH enough to want to have it permanently with them…. I have a sun and moon on my shoulders with my parents initials in them, because I want them with me forever….. You sir need some meaning to your life…

      -Haters gonna hate-

    • Angela says:

You are a jackass ….many people from all different echelons of society have them douch bag. And yes, considering they cost a considerable amount of money, it's safe to assume one must have the means to spend their money on body art. The only thing you stated with any merit is that those of us that have ink are not looking to conform- sorry if that bothers you. You seem to me to be a closed minded simpleton and I assure you that I would be hard pressed to think anyone truly cares about your opinion. Furthermore, "Pope" God gave You a neck for a reason- so you could turn your dumb ass head the other way if you don't like what you see. It is one thing to share a different opinion on specific subject matter and another thing entirely to condemn or disparage those who do not share your "views" idiot.

    • ANONIMO says:

everyone does what he wants with his body because they have the right and have no reason to criticize them, nor can we force them to do or not, you will prevent it? perhaps you'd like people to live criticizing something that you like? I tell the truth, I would make me a tattoo for the pain, but not so critical and insulting to those who did make it. MATURE!

    • Name says:

I accept your opinion. But I don't agree with it. Having a tattoo does not mean you have a desire to conform, nor does it mean that you are a cretin. It is, as most other things are, a way in which people choose to express themselves; and are typically not gotten in order to conform. I say this as a person who has a tattoo. I don't care about society. Nor do I care what people think about my tattoo. I drew it originally, and then I tattooed it on me as means to display my art. In what way is devotion to my works 'demeaning', 'classless', or 'pathetic'.

Surely its no more 'pathetic' than displaying a post that's so pointlessly hostile. If you don't like them, that's just fine. But there's no reason to insult people who do like them.

    • Sharayah says:

I think it's pathetic that you can be so closed minded about tattoos. Yes, some people get off-the-wall art that have no meaning or purpose, but then there are people who use it as a form of expression, or as a tribute. What do you think of people who get the birthdays, port traits or names of loved ones that they've lost? A couple that is friends of my family have matching tattoos of their son who died at about three years old. Is that vulgar and demeaning as well?

      • jck says:

A tattoo says your opinions are permanent. An open mind is always ready to abandon old opinions for better ones. Only the closed mind is certain.

    • atrayu says:

Bet you wear a cross and call yourself christian. So you would give a judgemental argument about conformity. lol. Sad, angry person you are.

  5. 003 says:

Ur just too much of a pussy to get one

  6. Hello says:

Steve-O's the best so far!! :D

  7. ArmyWife says:

really? how uneducated of you to make such claims. Some people choose to hang art on their walls, others choose to wear it on their skin. Yes, tattoos may go in and out of popularity but the people who truly understand and appreciate them will consider them lifelong investments. I feel bad for anyone who feels like they need to get a tattoo to "conform" but please….let those who love their tattoos, the art, and the subculture live in peace.

  8. shylady says:

i am open minded, tattoos are colourful, they are an expression of the person, jewellery is the same, i spend money on what i like, i do not care who disagrees. it is all personal choice, no ones opinion changes my mind as to what i wear or how i look.

  9. Troof says:

Tattoos are a form of self mutilation. It's a result of the rampant self loathing, sadism and masochism in the developed world. You can do what you want, but know that prior to Dennis Rodman's "Demolition Man" incarnation in the 1990's, and cats like Iverson and Rasheed Wallace the number of folks who got them was minimal. People are sooo stupid and prone to be followers, even so-called celebs and leaders. It's hilarious and tragic at the same time. You can't overcome a low pain threshold or cowardice by inflicting pain on yourself till you get acclimated! Get a clue dolts!Wait until you're 60 and that sh!t looks like wet newspaper. FUC-IN' IMBECILES, HAHAHA!!!

    • SffS_MC says:

You are a fucking idiot to think that tattoos are a form of self mutiation or a result of self loathing. "Sadism and masochism"? Really? And people have been getting tattoos long before Dennis Rodman you fucking douche bag.

  10. Rob says:

Tattoos are ugly and usually stupid. How many intelligent people have a need to put ugly graffiti all over themselves?

If you want them, by all means, have them. In your opinion, they look great, but in mine and millions of others…they make you look like garbage.

  11. AllyCat0909 says:

If tattoos make people look like garbage, i dont want to be clean! More power to women like me who have tats!!

And yes, mine are for family members, not "pointless garbage"
