#22 brings me back…and check out the board game collection! This kid knew how to party!

    • Kelly

i have that flat sheet!!! it belonged to my parents. i'm not cool enough to be a nerd, i just love them:-)

  • Math Nerd

#2 0 to the power of 0 is 1, I'm sure they were going for 0 but its certainly not a 12

    • Marvin the Martian

I believe that is 0 degrees…nice try though

    • Ichibankakoi

Pretty sure that's 0 degrees… I mean look at 3, it's definitely not 90 to the power of 0 right?

    • Jimmy C

I don't think a zero degree angle exists. It's just nothing, which has nothing to do with 12 o'clock.

      • Marvin the Martian

Actually in drafting there are zero degree angles, also in 24 hour clock midnight is 0 oclock…..the useless shit I know.

    • Event Horizon

0 to the power of 0 is undefined. All other reals to the power of 0 are 1. Nice try, "Math Nerd."

      • Zed

Wikipedia: In most settings not involving continuity in the exponent, interpreting 0^0 as 1 simplifies formulas and eliminates the need for special cases in theorems. Linux "bc" "gcalctool" and "OpenOffice Spreadsheet" all take this approach and answer "1" for "0^0". Also gcc…

  • My wife is a nerd

#22 – I had those bed sheets as a kid…and well into college even. sadly they wore to threads and had to go.

    • vegash

      Had that same set!

    • Connie McLingus

I had those sheets as well. Sadly, I discovered masturbation and they had to go.

#19 We know that from the movie.

    • Cory

Thank you! I said the same thing.

    • Anon

Wow. I'm shocked anyone would admit to actually watching that flick.
I take a great deal of pride having never seen it, or the fact I was smart enough to pass on it.

    • denzino

That also means that Luigi's last name is Mario, making him Luigi Mario

  • Lylah

    want #15

  • Semper

Two Benders in one post makes the day a little brighter

  • Jesse

#19 Perhaps it is his last name and no one uses his first name because it is something girlie….

    • Why Not?

wouldn't they call Luigi, Mario too then?

    • Zed

It should be: "Super Mario's Brother". There, I fixed it…

  • Unwavering

#2 is awesome, though I don't get why 10 is a question mark.

  • top dog

#10. If this was on all the elevators around the world, it'd be a lot of skinny people on the planet, cause almost everybody would take the stairs. They'd never this out.

can someone explain the mario joke for me?

    • LMMFAO

oh nevermind. Luigi Mario and Mario Mario = Mario Bros. Lol

    • Ann

Beth Grant Posted on Hey, I think this is really cool. I love the posts you make on edrfifent things you blame Lupus for. It is a funny side of blaming stray things on Lupus. Thanks for sharing.

  • northerner

Definitely cool pics for all us nerdy, geeky types!

  • Stan

    #2, 0^0 = 1, 1's repeated twice and there's no 12.

    • Emma

      It's zero degrees.

      • kubiakl

Zero to the zero power is undefined, it's neither one nor zero.

  • Perry

Also how is it geeky to have 2+2 etc. That's a bit more 'teach kids to multiply' than geek.

Another thing. If you think making facebook cakes is geeky then you've sorely misunderstood being a geek. It's just sad really.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000420830594 Joao Duraes

In the clock pic, it's not a 0^0 but 0º like zero degrees.. Just like the 3 is 90º.

  • Marius

So the 0 on the clock was definitely supposed to be in degrees, since otherwise it'd be a twelve, so it's obviously not making a one.
Which it wouldn't anyway, 0 to the 0th isn't one, it's a special problematic and limiting case. Practically it can usually be defined as such, but that depends on the context.
Can't believe I have to explain this to geeks! xP

  • Antonio

Typeface on the Mario Mario one?

  • Chillo
