the best part about old school cereal was the first opening of the box and fishing around the bottom of the bag for that awesome little toy.
You are doing it wrong
1. open from bottom.
2. pull out toy.
maybe, but whats the fun in that?

I sang the commercial jingle when I saw this one…
hello my name is crispy.. how do ya do…
I haven't heard of a few of these. I also wasn't allowed to eat that kind of cereal.
Rocky Road, S'mores, Ice Cream Cones, Pac Man – All AWESOME cereals. I can still taste them!
#28 like shootin' cereal in a bowl. awesome chive… just took me back to a happy wonderful place.
They need to bring those Fruity Marshmellow Krispies back ASAP.
I completely agree! I can still remember what they tasted like!
OMG! I tell people about smurf berry cereal #32 they dont believe me. It was the best cereal ever.
Smurf Berry Crunch was DELICIOUS! I would LOVE to have a box of that again…
Now that I'm all grown up, and a sad, lonely shell of a man-boy, I can buy and eat any cereal I like.
But I eat the store-brand generic corn flakes and cheerios ("Oatie-O's") instead.
This must all be from the early 80's because dont remember almost any of these. Awesome though!
#20 Use to be my favorite cereal! I kinda wish they'd bring it back now. LOL
i just remembered that I used to eat this, but never woulda if not for this post
#37, A yumma yumma!
You didn't find "Quisp"
they still sell Quisp believe it or not
I buy Quisp all the time. It reminds me of when I was younger.
heee heee! cackle! you young whippersnappers! in my day we had to eat cereals that weren't even based on tv shows or movies! It's true! We had to make do with Tony the Tiger, That Crazy Rabbit, And the Sugar Crisp Bear. No Rice Star Trekies, Captain Kangeroo-ios, Hogan's Heroes w/Marshmallow Nazi's, No Bewitched cereal with magic stars!
I don't think we had any of these in the UK. You peeps were lucky!
#33 was just T-shaped captain crunch but it was so good.
I pity da fool who don't eat my cereal!
I was too poor for this EXPENSIVE cereals….
I had to sleep over at a friends house to even have a chance at ANY of these cereals. I was lucky we got 40% Bran Flakes. boohoo
I hear ya!
Wait a minute! No Quisp? That's a glaring omission….
that kelogg's just right cereal looks excellent
Does anyone remember Chocolate Frosted Flakes??? Those were wayyy bomb. They only had them out for what seemed like a month or two.
I just went to Mexico and found Chocolate Frosted Flakes with marshmallows. Is that the same thing?
Ahhhhh… back in the day when it didn't matter whether the stuff was 'nutriticious' or not
Long as it looked funky, tasted good and you had a free toy to play with…
Gosh darn – need spell check! pfft
This thread hurt my teeth!!
Wow, they made cereals out of everything back in the 80s and 90s. Just like they made video games out of everything.
I was lucky enough to have had almost every one of these cereals when I was a kid. Our pantry looked like the shelf in Seinfeld's kitchen. We always had around 10 different cereals and I would eat 3 or 4 bowls a day. This was like watching Toy Story to me. It really took me back, and almost brought me to tears. …thanks.
How are you going to forget "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cereal"?!!! It was the best cereal EVER!
# 5: MUST…. find…. NOW!
Is this some kind of strictly American cereal, I've never seen this north of the boarder? Yet, another reason why America truly rocks. GO PACK GO! Also, the CFL can suck my nuts.
Nope! This was def available in Canada. Nice to see another fellow Canadian cheesehead. GO PACKERS. Oh, and yeah, the CFL is terrible… give us another down and we'll call it a day!
I remember just about every cereal on the list here. Two more not on the list, King Vitamin and Body Buddies. Also, to my fellow Packer buddies above, did you see the Packer cereal they put out last year?
