the best part about old school cereal was the first opening of the box and fishing around the bottom of the bag for that awesome little toy.

  3. Bree1912 says:

  4. MarcoChan says:

Rocky Road, S'mores, Ice Cream Cones, Pac Man – All AWESOME cereals. I can still taste them!

  8. Execudork says:

Now that I'm all grown up, and a sad, lonely shell of a man-boy, I can buy and eat any cereal I like.

But I eat the store-brand generic corn flakes and cheerios ("Oatie-O's") instead. :(

  9. murph says:

This must all be from the early 80's because dont remember almost any of these. Awesome though!

  10. Wonder_woman says:

  13. abipolarguy says:

heee heee! cackle! you young whippersnappers! in my day we had to eat cereals that weren't even based on tv shows or movies! It's true! We had to make do with Tony the Tiger, That Crazy Rabbit, And the Sugar Crisp Bear. No Rice Star Trekies, Captain Kangeroo-ios, Hogan's Heroes w/Marshmallow Nazi's, No Bewitched cereal with magic stars!

  14. Lynne McNaught says:

I don't think we had any of these in the UK. You peeps were lucky!

  15. bob says:

#33 was just T-shaped captain crunch but it was so good.

  16. Todd says:

I was too poor for this EXPENSIVE cereals…. :(

  21. Sarah says:

Ahhhhh… back in the day when it didn't matter whether the stuff was 'nutriticious' or not
Long as it looked funky, tasted good and you had a free toy to play with…

  22. @Gingergreek says:

    This thread hurt my teeth!!

  23. Brand_n says:

Wow, they made cereals out of everything back in the 80s and 90s. Just like they made video games out of everything.

  24. Rob says:

I was lucky enough to have had almost every one of these cereals when I was a kid. Our pantry looked like the shelf in Seinfeld's kitchen. We always had around 10 different cereals and I would eat 3 or 4 bowls a day. This was like watching Toy Story to me. It really took me back, and almost brought me to tears. …thanks.

  25. RicoSan80 says:

How are you going to forget "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cereal"?!!! It was the best cereal EVER!

  26. Terry says:

    # 5: MUST…. find…. NOW!

Is this some kind of strictly American cereal, I've never seen this north of the boarder? Yet, another reason why America truly rocks. GO PACK GO! Also, the CFL can suck my nuts.

    • Brad says:

Nope! This was def available in Canada. Nice to see another fellow Canadian cheesehead. GO PACKERS. Oh, and yeah, the CFL is terrible… give us another down and we'll call it a day!

  27. I remember just about every cereal on the list here. Two more not on the list, King Vitamin and Body Buddies. Also, to my fellow Packer buddies above, did you see the Packer cereal they put out last year?
