Awe this makes me miss my childhood. :( 90's were the best. It's a shame most kids won't experience this stuff as we did – now they're just supplemented with electronic crap..

  13. Parkatola says:

#2 Do these remind anyone else of the things kind of like this but they were on ropes, and made of heavy, hard plastic? I think they were called "Clackers." The goal was to get them clacking together, bouncing against each other at the bottom of the circle, until you got them going fast enough that you could make them whack together at both the top and the bottom of the circle. Usually what happened was that you got them going for a couple of times, and then they'd hit not quite squarely, and propel one or both directly into your hand, wrist, and/or fingers. And they made a lot of noise, way more than you'd think, which was regularly punctuated with the screams and cries of the wounded. Sometimes they'd shatter and throw sharp, jagged shards in every direction. Man, I miss those toys. Good times, good times.

And hey, where are the lawn darts? Remember those? Why won't the lawyers let us have anything fun?

  14. Donkey Kong Country Returns! I call foul!
