Actually her family paid for it –and even if it were true the tax income from all the souvenirs would have covered the cost — which we don't know — several times over.

it's beautiful but not royal enough. this is the "dress" everyone's looking forward to see and I was a little disappointed.
When I first saw it and before I had read any comments or reports about the dress, I was immediately reminded of Grace Kelly's wedding gown. While I think Grace Kelly's gown was more elegant and more fit for a Queen (or princess), Middleton's gown was very reminiscent of the Grace Kelly look.
