Well I think it's better if she said ''hey, wouldn't it be fun to make my haircut look like Marge Simpson's'' than ''hey, wouldn't be it fun to make my hair really tall and paint it some ridiculous unnatural color, I bet noone has ever done that before, wow, I'm so edgy''. So it's better to want to look alike on purpose than go for some cool edgy look and end up looking like a cartoon character.
