During last week’s ‘Bachelor Pad,’ we watched Ames Brown choose love over money when he quit the show to pursue a relationship with Jackie Gordon. Just like almost every other bachelor/bachelorette relationship, it dwindled quickly.

Gordon said the breakup wasn’t mutual: “I was shocked that it ended as it did. I thought it was potential forever,” the 27-year-old artist/assistant teacher said. “It came out of nowhere. As far as I knew, things were great. I thought it lasted much longer than it did. I guess you didn’t. It takes two.”
