May I suggest the W hotel & spa in Vieques, Puerto Rico? It's gorgeous there and you don't need a passport.

@lola that photo is very generic Caribbean and Vieques is wonderful for many reason the bio bay is a must see but the W would be expensive and I would not recommend the island for a wedding. I would say the riveria maya is a good choice, there is so much to do and many choices in places to stay, also travel is cheap and convenient from anywhere. The only advantage to Vieques is that your cell phone would work
