I am so sorry. I remember seeing this picture of Scott that was posted on the berry a few weeks back. I was saddened by the news of his death. I think it hit me particularly hard as I have a close friend who is a Marine in Afghanistan, who I worry about constantly. Praying for his family and friends who are left behind. Rest in Peace, Scott.

So sorry to hear. I am a military girlfriend and it breaks my heart every time I hear about a soldier losing their life. Thoughts and prayers to everyone who knew Scott. And I am so thankful there are people like him in the world that are willing to give their lives to fight for our freedom.

I'm a marine girlfriend as well, but her calling him a "soldier" doesn't make her any less appreciative of his service. A soldier or a marine: they're all sacrificing for us. You'd think as a USMC Wife, you'd have a little more compassion for someone who's likely going through similar emotions as yourself.
