I way prefer the vintage photographs. Back when 'shadowing' and retro airbrushing went hand in hand with actual talent in photography. Seriously, the cult of celebrity personality came out in the 1920s when a certain genius found ways to do 'glamour shots' and dramatic posing before anyone did. Now? We got fake smiley celebs standing straight at the camera in awkward poses, with every shred of skin in the same exact tone and lightening.
