    how do you do this?

You need gel medium which can be found at an art supply store. Print off a picture on a LASER printer. It needs to have toner or it won't come out quite right. Most people work in offices with printers that have toners. Use them if you can.

    Print off picture
Spread gel medium in a think layer on your canvas
Put picture face down on canvas and smooth it out carefully. Try to make sure there are no air bubbles
    Let this dry. Preferably overnight.
Get wet under faucet. Completely wet.
    Carefully peel back paper.
Let dry & repeat the wetting and peeling process until all paper is gone.
Once this is done coat with another layer of gel medium to add a glossy, protective coat to your canvas.
Be aware that some of the image will come off with the image transfer, that happens. If you're careful only a small amount of the transferred image will peel off with the paper. This created a nice "distressed" look.

You can also use wood, fabric or any other flat surface to transfer images using this method.

    Happy transferring!
