It's nice to see these women in their natural state. we as a society spend so much time trying to emulate these looks, but these women require PROFESSIONAL makeup artists to look "beautiful" – seeing them in the faces they were born with, without professional alterations, is good for people to see. They're just normal people. They have cellulite (as 90% of all women do) and wrinkles, and they all have a natural beauty that we can't see when they have all that junk covering their faces.

#25 & #27 are still wearing make-up. Eyeliner counts as make-up. They are wearing LESS make-up, not none at all.

Honestly, for the most part there’s not much difference. Women put far too much stock in slathering their faces with goo and powder.

On one hand I wanna say that if woman were allowed to just look how they look than we would see faces in a much different way. On the other hand, we get to wear makeup to cover our flawes and men don't! Haha! LOL

As a photographer, one thing I notice is that most of what you see has little to do with makeup and a LOT to do with poor lighting, undesirable shadows (especially around the eyes), and just horrible composition. You know… what you would come to expect from candid photos. A few have also mentioned Photoshop. That does play a part in how good celebrities look, too. Without the benefit of glamour lighting, make up, well composed photos, and yes, Photoshop, celebrities look a lot like the rest of us. Sometimes, even worse!

Get a clue. Of course their faces are made up for public appearances and they're digitally enhanced when photographed. Their continuing earning power is heavily dependent on their looks. You'd do it too.

I certainly don't feel so badly about my makeup less face now!

Aw, this was an exceptionally good post. Spending some time and actual effort to create a top notch article… but what can I say… I hesitate a whole lot and don’t seem to get nearly anything done.

The professional models (Tyra, Heidi etc) still look gorgeous without the makeup.
