#3 That actually struck accord with me.
Berry, I believe you can read my mind. I was listenning this song ( Don't Give Up, by Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush ) when I read this…
EXACTLY what i needed berry!!
Haha, I was just contemplating getting my ass on the treadmill on a day I'm feeling less than inclined, so thanks!
Although – wow – 7000 jumping jacks burns ONE POUND? ONE? I'm not sure who does 1000 jumping jacks every day for a week just to lose a pound. There has to be easier ways! I mean that's more depressing than motivating, surely? The only thing I do a thousand times in a week is fantasize about getting home from work and drinking gin and tonic while sitting in my pajamas in a recliner.
This gave me so much hope, too bad its cold outside!
#13 #20 #27 you can all do at home!
I love this post!! I’ve been dieting and recently hit a rut, this was the perfect thing to see this morning. Could we have these more often??
#5 has got horrible form/technique…just sayin'.
true..she's prob just modeling
That's a back problem just waiting to happen
Just what I needed. I was going to work out last night and got distracted… Tonight nothing's stopping me! Thanks Berry.
I've been eating very carefully and working out for 3 weeks and have yet to lose weight know i need to keep it up and it will happen, but boo…
keep it up girl!!
It's not about losing weight, it's about turning that fat in to lean muscle! So, I'm sure that's what you're doing. Keep it up!
you guys are so nice! thanks
I had the same problem when I started working out….just remember, you're turning fat into muscle, and muscle weighs more than fat. You will get to a point where the pounds come off, as long as you keep at it! If you stop working out, that muscle you gained will turn back into fat and the scale will show a smaller number, but your clothing size will not. Hope that made sense! Keep it up!! You can do it!
I needed this today!!!
What a great post!!
Oh Thanks!, just after the killing insanity workout… I left my butt out there…
Many of these pics have url to tumblr sites that go beyond being healthy into being anorexic. Way to be Berry.
#13 is intense, I did it on Sunday afternoon (at home) and I was the good kind of sore all day yesterday! Try it, it's fun! I broke it down into 2 parts then switched up what I did… 20 jumping jacks, 10 squats,20 crunches, 10 leg lifts and then back to jumping jacks etc… just so I wouldn't get bored doing the same thing all at once.
loved this, do these posts more often!!
Thanks Berry, great post!
Very good post! moar like these prease!
#27 What is a burpee? Is it what happens after you drink a slurpee?
The burpee is a full body exercise used in strength training and as aerobic exercise. It is performed in four steps, and was originally known as a "four-count Burpee":
Begin in a standing position.
Drop into a squat position with your hands on the ground. (count 1)
Extend your feet back in one quick motion to assume the front plank position. (count 2)
Return to the squat position in one quick motion. (count 3)
Return to an upright standing position. (count 4)
Stole that from Wikipedia.
It's an exercise recently banend by the Navy/Marine Corps because of the ability to cause knee problems. I'd skip it.
Oh berry Iove this post. I have lost 6lbs since Jan 1st and I've honestly never felt so motivated in my entire life . Thank you for the little extra push today
thank you Berry! <3
#9 I don't understand why people don't use "loose" and "lose" correctly.
Sorry. Pet peeve.
Agreed. Kind of takes the whole meaning of the quote away when it's not even grammatically correct.
Love this post! Not about being stick thin but being healthy and active. Thanks Berry!
PLEASE keep doing posts like this. ESPECIALLY the at home workouts. This is AWESOME!
