I would say the current degsin is better, its clutter free and easy on the eye. But here is a suggestion on the layout. It would be good if on the right hand side after “About me”, you had “Connect”, “Recent posts” and then lastly followed by “Free guide to article making”. Also, you could include a visitor count on your website, to add credibility just my 2 cents..
