it was on the TV just the other day .. great movie …

Is it true that there was a scene with a silhouette of hanging munchkin in the background with the Wicked Witch to scare us? I've looked but never seen it.

    • OddJobb

      No, that's been debunked.

      • Beena Dorgan

Oh thanks, although it would be cool if it was true ^_^

Remember that the Witch wasn't after Dorothy, and she wasn't trying to rule the world. All she ever wanted was those slippers. Say, how did Dorothy acquire those magical shoes in the first place? Why, by taking them off the blood-drenched feet of the Wicked Witch of the East. Who she just murdered. Who also happened to be the Wicked Witch of the West's sister. Therefore, the shoes belong to the next of kin.

Plus, if you are old and ugly, then you are an evil witch. But, beautiful = good.

I ALWAYS felt sorry for the Witch!
She did not deserve what she got!

#19 This makes no sense. The whole moral of the story was there is no place like home. I guess I'm just nitpicking because I'm a film studies major, but still anyone could understand that.

Maybe it's just me, but Glinda always kind of bugged me…she was so peppy.
