Post Secret (13 photos)

PostSecret is an ongoing community art project where people mail in their secrets anonymously on one side of a postcard. Check out tons more secrets at

  • Shan Mon

#12 is from the Post Secret App experiment. Although it shut down on New Years day…I still miss it every day! I can't even bring myself to delete the icon. :(

  • JessiJ

#1 is written on an award given to someone who works at The Home Depot. AND Basic Hygiene is in our SOP

  • SadeShadz

Jeez, I love this post every time ♥

  • tomato

#12 it probably doesn't help that you call your wife's mental illness crazy :(

    • did

Maybe if people weren't so hung up on perceived offenses, it wouldn't matter. A word is a word, nothing more.

  • tomato

#1 the guy in the photo kind of looks like a bi-racial screech

    • emb144

I was thinking the same thing!

  • reality

#13 it is amazing how we carry the words of the insignificant with us all our lives. good and bad.

  • itsashleybro

    #9 so sad.

    • Katie

      but understandable

  • ashc

    #6 whaaaat??
#12 reminds me of "The United States of Tara"

  • Christy

    #6 So sad & true

    • Kellor

Yeah, it is really sad, but it doesn't surprise me. You'd think breast cancer was the only cancer out there. Just about as many men are diagnosed with and die from prostate cancer as breast cancer and it receives a fraction of the funding and awareness.

      • Bunny on nite shift

Prostate cancer research gets a fraction of the research dollars breast cancer does. My dad died of prostate cancer -it's past time to support this important research, too.

      • Ellington3

All Cancers should be funded and researched!
One should not have to say which should have more attention!
They all need the support because they are all devastating!

        • Kellor

I'm in total agreement, it's a horrible thing for any person to have to go through.

  • Katie

    #7 is awesome

  • JOHN

#11 is how I would feel about a daughter, regardless of her mental capabilities. People can be sick.

    • Ellington3

      this is so sad. :(
I wish ALL children were safe from pedos.

      • arwen

It doesn't necessarily have to be referring to pedophiles. It could just mean that no matter her age, men will take advantage of an attractive girl with a disability.

        • JOHN

*very few men. Man hatred is a waste of energy and prejudicial. Most men would probably kill to prevent this from happening, myself included.

          • RealityCheck

1 out of 4 young girls/women will ADMIT to being sexually abused/assaulted. Since the major majority of sexual crimes go UNREPORTED (2 different older boys over the course of 3 yrs. for me as a pre-teen) I would say that the percentage of bad guys out there is higher than the reported 1 in 4. Probably an actual number would be 2 out of 4 or 50% of the guys out there commit some sort of sexual crime against women and children (date rape is a sexual crime, too), SO…that is reason to be a little prejudiced and hateful sometimes. Walk in the shoes of a woman for one year and you will no doubt understand why some women are like that.

            • arwen

I would really like to know where you are getting these statistics…

  • EHM

#1 That's just nasty. It takes 10-15 minutes to get clean at most. Believe it or not, customers are not stupid and can figure out you didn't shower as well. This puts out a bad view on the company you work for and on yourself.

    • FONZIE

Skipping a shower once in a while is not a big deal.

      • did

When I have to smell you (and I do), it is a big deal to me.

  • Ellington3

Makes me feel sad for this person.
Everyone needs someone to talk to.

  • arwen

Um, even after seeing all these posts on Berry, I just realized I have been forgetting to check Post Secret every Sunday for at least 3 months. I'm so sad now :(
    #8 so very true.

  • angelsammyC-S
