And I guess what I’m saying is that that is an adlbmaire way of looking at the world and how people love, and I also agree with it. But you’re looking at it from a really post-race and post-sexual orientation viewpoint, and that’s just not the world we live in. That’s why I find it frustrating. I find it frustrating because you don’t have to think about it, like you said you’re not thinking ill of anyone, but you just don’t have to think about what representations you’re seeing, in part because you’re always seeing people who look like yourself. But because we don’t live in that world there is still a lot of racism and homophobia it is kind of important to see more visibility. I kind of agree with that guy on TheChive, though I may not agree with the way he goes about making his point.
