study more. with work math should be the easiest subject in grade school because it is simply repetition. If you can follow the instructions on a Lego set you can become better at math.

I agree. As someone who is a film studies major I never have to use math. I will only probably use basic math in my everyday life and I would imagine that class was for a higher level. If it is just needed for a requirement it seems rude to tell the person that they won't have a career because they can't do high level math when some careers don't require it.

yeah, maybe it may not be such a good idea. Some students might be real sensitive or what if one of their parents work for Mcdonald's. with that said, I think its a good wake up call to kids. You shouldn't be failing math, its pretty important (at least basic math is).

#5 is horrible. this teacher needs diciplinary action. i bet there are some students who have a parent that works at mcdonalds. what message does this send? it sends the message that some people are better than others. i agree krystal. this is really bad.
