Lauren Conrad stepped out with a hot pink ponytail at her book signing at a Barnes & Noble in Los Angeles yesterday. Before her appearance she went ‘On Air with Ryan Seacrest,’ and was asked about being the next Bachelorette. Her response:

“No! Why would date on TV again?” the former ‘Hills’ star said of the ‘Bachelorette’ chatter. “I would love to do something that didn’t affect the people in my life. I like working. I had a really good experience with television, but I don’t want my friends to have to sign a waiver to hang out with me. You know what I mean? I’m fine not doing it right now though.”
