    #13 doesn't sound very healthy.

There's weight loss and weight loss. I'm not sure that's the way to go….

I thought the same thing…I feel like trying to only eat fruit for an entire day would just not work.

    • Suz129

It's definitely not a long-term solution, I imagine at least some of that weight would come back once you went back to eating normally. But it might be a nice kick-start to a bigger goal. I'd try it.

My mom did the miracle soup diet before her wedding and she dropped right around ten lbs. She still doesn't this diet on occasion to cleanse her body and eliminate bloat….works!

Thank you! I was just going to comment on here to ask if this diet actually worked. It looks like your basic cleansing diet. I might try it. Do you know if you're able to work out like normal on this diet? It doesn't seem like it would give you enough energy to go for a 3-mile run or lift strenuous weights.

The only way to really lose weight is to eat a balanced diet and get exercise. Your caloric intake should be at least what you burn off in the course of a day. If you don't feed your body enough, and exercise, the body will catabolize high cost tissues like muscle and replace them with fat. 1 Part Cardio. 1 part lifting. Abs every day. The muscle will grow, the fat will start to disappear.
My ex wanted to lose 80 pounds. We started walking to work every day, and doing abs every night. Her diet included a yogurt, an apple, a granola bar, and a banana between waking up and lunch. A healthy lunch that started with a salad and a dinner to make her caloric intake +200 of usage. She lost 85 pounds in 6 months.
