#16 you can't be more right! I alway's ask my clients that are obsessed with the scale 'when you go shopping for a dress, what will you say to the shop employee? This is my size or i weigh … LBS!
Brit
#16 Sometimes when I start working out again, I initially GAIN weight! I am assuming it's the added muscle, but I try to just stay away from the scale and instead look at how my clothes are fitting me. Congratulations! You look great!
Kate
Brit, that's correct, it is the muscle you're gaining that makes you heavier. Muscle is a denser mass than fat is, so if you're gaining weight initially when you start training, but you SEE results, than you're working out correctly. If you want to lose weight and gain lean muscle, focus on high intensity cardio, and quick repetitions with light weights. If you want to simply build muscle mass and look more fit, use heavy weights and do high impact cardio exercises like jumping jacks, running, etc. Both will result in a healthier look! Also, this girl is doing it right. Slow and steady wins the race.
Claudia
Your muscles will swell and retain a little water too until they're used to regular exercise.
#16 nice job and keep up the good work!

My Chiver had his picture posted last week. It was similar to this one. I'm so proud of him!
I’m more than honored to have taken part in it from the very beninging. Having photographed Natalie & Luis’ Engagement Session, they were definitely prepared for the excitement of their wedding day. They were like pro’s
