Sorry, but that is incorrect. Diet is like 80-90% of the equation. You can definitely make huge progress with diet alone. However, combining the two will obviously have a greater affect.

Thanks to The Daily Motivation, (and a little persistence) I finally hit a goal weight I have been trying to achieve for a while. I have a few more pounds to go to make my goal weight, but I'm well on my way. Thanks, Berries!

I do love to see the transformation photos! Great job to everyone all around. Just remember, ladies, that it is much more difficult for women to lose weight than for a guy to lose. We have the hormones going on and our bodies tend to keep fat to protect any children we may have. It's just nature.
We tend to be the primary caregivers and that leaves a lot less time/energy to focus on ourselves than we should. AND women (I am generalizing here, so please forgive) make the food, which exposes us to all sorts of "opportunities" to overeat, even just in tasting. So don't be discouraged! You can do it!

#5 and #16 GREAT job!! You should be very proud of yourself. Many people think you diet and forget about it after you lose the weight…it's a lifestyle change. I lost 80 lbs 13 years ago and have never gained it back…it feels too good to be healthy!
