    #10 ARGH OH YEAH!! This made my day. Four years ago, I was 53kg and size 8-10. A year ago, I was 65kg and size 12 was sometimes too small. Today, I am 69-70kg and I bought a pair of size 8 pants yesterday. Okay so they are really stretchy. But size 10 is the norm now. I have been working out 3-4 times a week for 8 months… and thought I was crazy because I have always had stupidly low self respect and self esteem… and clothes must just be bigger these days, right? HA!! It turns out that I look amazing!! – Australian kilograms ad clothing sizing…

      yeah, i think it' a great lesson. what you weigh doesn't determine your health… or even your appearance.

    #10 YES! You CAN GAIN weight when exercising and weight training because you gain muscle mass and muscle weighs more than fat. I thought I was crazy, too, working out for months and the scale either going up or plateauing. BUT, I was losing dress sizes and that means losing inches. You are burning fat (fluffy) and building a muscle (dense and smaller) under it. Don't get discouraged by this and just keep on going!😀

      You are absolutely right!!! Excersicing/lifting weights is going to add muscle to you and what you're doing is changing your body composition from fat/excess fluids to lean muscle mass. When you're doing this a scale is a pointless tool to measure progress.

          I'm actually not struggling. at all. That is A LOT of food. The only way i could eat that amount of food without feeling overly full would be after a good workout or if my metabolism suddenly sped up. I see from your picture that you are a guy, men faster metabolisms compared to women. I appreciate your concern but i think we are okay.

            I’m glad you’re Ok. But that sounds like a comment I hear from a lot of women, a lot of the time. “Oh it’s Ok I skipped breakfast” or “Oh it’s Ok I’m going to “do some cardio” later” At some point it becomes much more complicated than just calories in vs calories out. Steady state, low intensity cardio (jogging, elliptical etc is probably the way you can spend the most time to burn the least calories, and still end up looking “skinny fat”.
            A lot of food?? It’s a peanut butter, apple and Nutella sandwich. 1 sandwich. Whole grain bread, an apple, and peanut butter are all perfectly healthy things to eat (I would’ve went with peanut butter that just has peanuts in it, but that’s me) The Nutella is really the only questionable item here.
            How would having a faster metabolism make you feel less full? Men have a higher metabolic rate than women because our body composition is naturally more muscular and less fatty, not just “because we’re men”. Muscle takes more calories to maintain than fat, this isn’t news. If you want a higher metabolism, change your body composition, go lift heavy weights and do some high intensity cardio training. Then maybe you could eat a whole peanut butter and apple sandwich without feeling like you have to go do 2 hours of cardio.

              Lol, this is perfectly healthy! Healthy grains, fruit, healthy fat, and the nutella indulges some cravings with smart moderation!! Just under 350 calories, talk about a delicious breakfast to fuel an active lifestyle!!! Inspired my peanut butter and banana sandwich today:) great break from scrambled eggs / oatmeal!

    #10 Made me tear up! I was scrolling down expecting to see a weight loss, but the number went up instead! Recently when I weighed myself the scale said I was 10 pounds heavier than I thought it would even though I've been running and boxing all summer. It's been really upsetting and confusing! However, this picture single- handedly made me throw out my self-doubt. Daily Motivation indeed!
