I wonder if some of these people realize when they see photos… like when some people only realize they are fat or that their dress is see-through when they see photos of themselves?
Make-up wise I loathe those light colors, like in #2. I've never seen anyone rock a lipstick that light, especially with the carrot color. I wouldn't even mind if it was their own style, but… as a trend?? What the hell is wrong with you people?
Sarlm
I always wonder that too, do they look at these photos and really think they look good?
Sarlm
I cannot believe people think this looks good. I mean sure, a slight sun kissed tan can be nice, but mahogany is not a good look!

#14 and #16 are huge fails.

#15 didn't seem that bad to me. Others though, what are they thinking? Do they really think they look good?

What was that pic the other day? "It's sun-kissed, not dorito-raped." Fits perfectly with this post.

#16 This photo has been circulating on the Internet since before the days of Jersey Shore.

Am I the only one that thinks #24 looks like her skin tone?

I will never understand the whole "tan is sexy" thing. Sure, getting your Vitamin D is great for you, but you don't have to look like a carrot.. or in some cases, or like burnt crusty leather. I think fake tan is gross, whether it's spray tan or out of a bed. Tan doesn't look "healthy" if it's fake.

Both of my grandfathers had jobs where they were outside all day (a farmer and a gardener). Their skin looked very tan and had a texture like LEATHER in their early 50s. My grandmothers both had beautiful skin until very late in life and always spent their days indoors. Just sayin'

A hiding place? So shame can't find her.

#17..not only did they not read the directions on the bottle, but apparently they forgot how to use a brush as well

How can anyone possibly think this looks good? Unless you are dressing up as an Oompa Loompa for Halloween you should not be orange.
:-)
what a load of douchebags……

SO GROSS!!!!!

How do they get that brown or orange? Really, I don't know. Is it from the tanning booth or do they spray it on? They look like things an archeologist would dig up out of an ancient tomb.

My father typically tans to a leather brown and at 76 was diagnosed with skin cancer. It's time to take back "skin" color, it's far healthier.

Their families must hate them. I would never let my sister/mother/cousin or anyone I care about leave the house looking like these people! I tan very easily and rarely burn when in the sun. I used to tan a lot when I was in high school and college but never did I become orange or leathery. I would go maybe once every 2 weeks. These people look like they spend every morning and every afternoon in a tanning booth! Its gross and unhealthy. Now I live in south Florida and am as pale as a sheet and happy as well as healthy and skin-cancer free!!

Can one simply declare that of a relief to find someone who actually understands exactly what they will be discussing on the net. You need to discover how to carry a worry to mild making this essential. More people need to see this and also appreciate this aspect in the history. My partner and i can’t consider you are not popular since you definitely have the reward.
