Thanks berry. I'm down 27lbs since march. there is an app worth using if ur serious about getting healthy. I was 166 and now I'm 138. It's a free app. It let's u track calories and meals just by scanning the barcode IF you want to use that feature. And it's similar to fb in the manner of being able to talk about what ur doing, your struggles or anything else that's on your mind. It's worth trying for a day to see if it is your cup of tea. I stopped tracking my food after two months because I became SO aware of what I was eating it was unnecessary to continue to track everything, it just became second nature.

I loved MyFitnessPal!! It helped me drop 10lbs… however, I started to hit a rut and that is when I switched to WeightWatchers (which yes, you pay for, but the phone app is free and it really helps keep you on track) So far I've lost another 10 and I have about 10 more to go to reach my goal. I definitely think MFP is a great way to start but I find myself eating healthier on WW because its not just about calories, you have to watch your fat too. But I'm glad it worked (and continues to work) for you! However if you find yourself plateauing and want to switch things up, definitely consider WW

Berry, I avoided these posts for a couple months because I couldn't stand feeling guilty for not working out. I finally just quit with the excuses, made working out a priority (which is really the way it has to be done) and rejoined my crossfit gym this week. Haven't been able to take the stairs in my office all week, but it's awesome. Thanks

Well, I didn't walk on the treadmill today. I took my kids for a walk. Still lasted about 30 mins. And we got caught in a rain shower! It was great!

just came from the gym and did a kick ass work out with the trainer. had to lie on the floor in the locker room before i could shower (gross, i know, but i was DEAD)
