Dominican here and Thank you for making me drool!!

My Puerto Rican friend has made red beans and rice before, and it is delicious!

I grew up on all of this food. Specifically #3 with the Banana wrapped food, #5 Roti – oh god I am so in love and in need for Roti right now. #13 Saltfish, #17 Empanadas, and finally #21 with Carne Mechada.

If you want Carne Mechada (Shredded beef) go to Venezuela. For Roti and Saltfish, Trinidad and Tobago has the best in the Caribbean. As for Empanadas, Argentina has amazing empanadas.

This makes my childhood up for food. Thanks Berry!

This makes me miss my grandmother from the Virgin Islands. She made the best goat pate, callaloo, and johnnycakes.
