OK, I applaud anyone's efforts to tackle on cake baking because it's not as easy as people think it is. However….. I have to call radishes on #26. I find it hard to believe that's your first attempt at cake making. If it is you need to jump on it, if not there's no harm in saying it's something you enjoy doing & did it for your friends. Plus there's a lot of folks out there trying to pass off another bakers cake as their own. Just saying…….

    • smh

Oh hush, ill here anything she did make. Let her brag. It's very nicely done. You sound jelly.

      • saywhat

First of all I'm not jealous. I myself am a baker & have lots of friends who bake. We all do fantastic things and support each other. It is a nice cake but in the same way people post "new" pics of tattoos that clearly aren't new I'm simply stating that honesty goes a long way. She should be proud because it is a beautiful cake. I just don't buy that's it's a first attempt. Like I said, just saying….

I think it could pass for a first-timer. It has no sugar work, it's just 2 tiers with…coconut and frosting? Or something similar and then some fresh flowers. It is very even, but if you have a good eye for detail I'd say definitely achievable.

This is my cake :) And it was my first time making a cake. The bottom tier is styrofoam & the top was only a 6". I made a practice cake to make sure the flavor/ cake worked but I didn't put it together like this. I did lots of research before I attempted it. http://www.limelightphotography.net/kyla-murray-l
