#15 – Very good.<img src="http://s01.flagcounter.com/count/7uR/bg=FFFFFF/txt=FFFFFF/border=FFFFFF/columns=1/maxflags=1/viewers=3/labels=0/" alt="." width="1" border="0" />
#2 Grilled Onion Flatbread with Bacon and Arugula.
#4 I stopped reading after the word "than"… "then"
#13 boooo! "excuse"? Really! Sometimes not being able to lose weight has to do with your HEALTH or other mitigating factors. Like genetics… And for some people, they just don't OBSESS about it or maybe don't even care at all…because they know that what is INSIDE is more important.
so…you excuse is you're just lazy?
and her insides are prob. pretty healthy too…unlike the lady who popped out one kid and blame their unhealthy life styles and weight on having that one kid years ago.
ooohhh them's fightin' words! "just lazy"… No… life happens. I got sick… I WAS "living right". Eating healthily and working out. wow…. you need help. Some people have accidents and can't move the way they want to or used to…. I am just stunned by the ignorance in your post!
I'm really disappointed by #13 , giving birth and dealing with a newborn is hard enough without pressure to lose weight or have abs! I really expected more from the berry 'what's your excuse??'
Not to mention the toll pregnancy takes on some bodies, I know I am not the only one who is still dealing with back problems keeping me from doing anything too strenuous almost 10 months later. I am all for a little motivation but this is just pitting one woman against another during a time in her life when she has very little control over the changes her body went through.
Another useful tip. BREATHING! So important. I learned this really late and actually from the Michael Thurmond program. (I've tried almost everything.) Try this: when doing your cardio, breathe in completely through the nose for four counts, then out through the mouth completely for two counts. Stop if you get light headed and start again when you recover. If you forget, that's ok, too, or if it makes you feel uncomfortable just don't do it.
It made a difference for me, so maybe it will for you, too. Oxygen is a part of the fuel for your metabolism. Just like a fire, without oxygen, the fire, your metabolism, goes out.
#4 sorry but this is so stupid. 'Oh, well you SHOULD have healthy portions to your meal, but if you're skinny already eat whatever you want and just watch your calorie count.' Cause that won't end badly at all. How about saying no matter what you weigh, eat healthy? And stop obsessing over the weight factor.
Yeah, that one concerned me. The only good part was the "throw away the scale" suggestion.
I read the pink as being a sarcastic, joking sort of commentary to what was written in black. But I don't know if there is more to this little section or not…
Thanks for number #13 totally unmotivated now that i'm not like her! (thought better of y'all)
Don't feel bad Heather! We Berries are about more than just the 'pefect body' (I sincerely hope). We're in this together. I would not have managed a 5k run today without googleberry's very insipiring and motivating words to me. (I absolutely adore her, by the way!)
So please don't give up! <3

#8 is a great breakfast for those who are not morning people like me and always running late … but DO NOT put them in muffin wrappers. The pretty much fuse with the wrappers when they cook and after trying to peel them off you end up with about 1/2 the cupcake.
Just spray the pan with Pam or other spray.
mmm these look delicious! thanks for the tip!
yes! thanks for the tip!
#13 A woman who just gave birth should not feel guilty about her weight, nobody should ever feel guilty about weight problem. Guilt never helps to move forward.
I usually LOVE the daily motivation, but #13 bothers me. I don't have any children, but I can imagine that new moms looking at this for healthy motivation might feel bad about themselves, because looking like THAT after 3 kids (one of which is only 8 months old) is pretty damn difficult without a personal trainer (not to mention a dedication to dieting that probably doesn't seem that essential to a new mom with a baby).
#4 this post is just showing you how skinny girls are different…and they control their weight different. There's no ONE way. It also shows to stop idolizing a 'perfect' weight girl when she only allows herself to eat candy as her calorie intake. I didn't see this as negative. Rather REALISTIC.
#13 obviously not everyone is going to look like her. The point is to strive for your best, drop your excuses and work within your own limitations to get your healthy body back.
It would really help if people would not categorize "reasons" as "excuses". Some "excuses" are unavoidable "reasons". Yes, totally work within your limitations, IF YOU EVEN CAN!
#6 My hero, I hope I'm still at it when I'm an older woman!!!! <3
[...] How’s this for a little Monday motivation? [...]
That's me!!! Yay!!!
whoos the hmotb?
As a mom of 3 kids, I LOVE #13. I am at an unhealthy weight and often cite my children as my 'excuse' for not taking the time out for me. "I don't have time" " I have to cook for them anyway" "I can't fit a workout into my busy parenting schedule". Then I remember that I want to sit on the floor and play with them, and kick the soccer ball around with them, and even just have the energy to keep up. If I want those things I've got to get up and do it. I will NEVER look like that Mum, but I will be healthier, and heck what a great looking goal! Thanks Berry, Love the daily motivation.
