    #12 LOL !

    • Just me

that seems like it'd be more work than just mopping the whole floor

      • popcorn

I guess they would just drag the mop in a diagonal line…maybe? lol

      being a Sister-Wife sounds lonlier

      • Wisti

is a sister wife where you marry your sister?

  • dkellyb

#12 that just seems like a lot more work than just mopping all of them :S

    • Alex

I can tell you from personal experience that it DOES take a lot longer, haha!

    • xoxo

      Exactly what I was thinking.

    • Just me

oops just made that same comment on a post above

  • Mia

#9 I do too! Or when I really need a red light because I dropped something or want to change my radio to CD or iPod so I can get the stuff out.:)

  • Castiel

    #10, what is a sister-wife?

    • Logan Slogan

It's part of polygamy I believe. The Husband has multiple wives whom supposedly act in "sisterly" manner. Quite dated IMHO but I think people should do what makes them happy!

      • 16inchzipper

Not sure it would make her happy.

    • Technician

One man married to more than one woman (usually many more than one). Polygamy. The wives call themselves sister-wives. Not to sound rude, but I don't care how lonely I was, I would NEVER see this lifestyle as appealing. It just seems very strange to me. The guy in the picture is married to all four women (I think there is actually five now), they have/had a TV show about it and he has like, 15+ kids or something.

My living situation is bizarre. I currently share a home with
      1) my 18 year old daughter
      2) her father/my ex-husband
      3) his sister
      4) her boyfriend
      5) her 4 month old grandson about half the time

      Here are the benefits:
      1) Financial. Four working adults? MUCH easier to manage things.
      2) When my daughter has issues with her epilepsy, we have four adults who can help. I tried to take a vacation a couple weeks ago. Hawaii with my guy. She seized while I was gone. Auntie stayed with her in the hospital until I got home/her father got back from hunting camp. We also all take care of the baby when he's here.
      3) Help with housework.
      4) Help with cooking.
      5) Help with yard work.
      6) There's always someone to talk with.
      7) We're all respectful of each others privacy and certain boundaries do not get crossed. (IE sex…none happening except between the sister-in-law and her boyfriend.)

While it's not even close to the Sister Wives show, it works for us. I know what it feels like for people to judge me based on my living situation. Is it crazy? Perhaps. But it works well for my child specifically. So although I don't understand being willing to share a husband, I can absolutely understand sharing a home and the responsibilities of children.

Good for you. You do you. Don't mind what others think or say.

  • MontanaGirl76

Some of us tell our parents we love them all the time and our parents can't say it back. Famy is the hardest thing I've ever had to do!

  • 16inchzipper

#4 I like this one. Good on both of you.

  • Rachel

#6 am i the only one who thought this said '82' not '32' years old? unless they really are 82…

    • Guest

      I read it as 82, too. Is it 32? I can't tell.

      • Ally

Me too! I was like woah, your parents must be old

  • DRD

#1 – The lottery is a tax on people who are bad at math. It's a shame that expensive education didn't fix that.

  • Katherine

I am in exactly the same boat! glad to know i'm not the only one lol
