#47 I'd pay off my student loans, my mom's student loans, my car, and my mom's car. Then I'd go on vacation someplace exotic. And then I'd put the rest in an account for my family to use.

#47 a house, and a college fund for my daughter, I'd also like to start up something to help the children of skid row

#47: I would use it to start building my dream. I'm a psych major whose biggest dream is to establish and open a summer camp and therapy center for kids, teens and adults who are involved in/part of adoption and the Canadian foster care system (this includes children who are already adopted or have been temporarily placed in foster care).

#47 I would pay off my student loans, fix my mom's house, buy my dad a house, fix my car and then go on a shopping spree and buy tons (I mean a sick amount) of books.
#60 Is it weird that I want to hug his back?

#27 Awww. See people you don't need to give your pets away just because you have a "real baby" now. They are part of the family, too. They still need love and attention.

#47 I see all the posts about this question. As nice as it is that everyone is so generous, it's ok to want things for yourself too. So many are saying they will pay off other people's stuff and putting it all in an account for their kids and then they say "oh and a tiny little vacation for me". It's OK to do the nice stuff for people but it's also OK to do stuff for you, too. Buy yourself a house, or a condo on the Residence of The World ship, travel wherever you want, buy boots and jewelry, give to charities, give to your friends and family too but know it's OK to do stuff for YOU! We as women feel like it's not ok to do things for ourselves.

Here's what I would do: yes pay off my mom and my brother's mortgages. Buy my mother a really nice car, whatever she wants. I would probably not buy myself a house right away. I think I would take time to figure out where I want to live. I would set up a joint checking account for a friend to use that lives in another country but wants to live here again. I would help people start their dreams. I would love to set up a little venture capitalist firm to help people who want to start a company, make a film, or start a project where the only thing limiting them is money. I would donate to charities. I would invest a vast majority of it for long term so that I don't burn through it in a year or two, just live off the interest. I would travel everywhere. I would never work again. But I'm also not going to give to everyone who comes running with their hand out.

Avocado does not belong on pizza. Anyone who says it does does not deserve pizza.
