Sorry, but check your sources, this was story tossed around a couple years ago as a theory. In reality, the two people were never identified and there is at least a dozen stories by those claiming to be the man and woman on the sequence of events, let alone the photographer's recall. Many books and articles wrote on the subject. Not one included a slap. At the time, kissing was being promoted as a way to welcome home those back from the war. All women claiming to be her and the photographer said she was surprised but that was it. It was a happy photo, so be happy!!!

Keep your rudeness to yourself. Obviously, the person in the photo knew they were recreating that one. It is not as though she was claiming it as an original. If you have time to rain on someone else's parade, I'd venture to say you're not doing much in the realm of creativity either.
