I had the exact same thing when I was in my early 20's. It took a week to drain the abscess but then I felt good. I was in the hospital for a month. But that was a long time ago because I'm almost 84 now.
Hard being a parent
My daughter had that when she was 8 (11 years ago). Spent a week in the hospital. Drained the access. Many meds. Went back 4 mos later to have appendix removed. She is fine. But she was very ill. I feel for you. Alyssa will be fine but I know it's hard to see your baby so sick. She is a cutie. Be strong for her.
