I actually think #16 is pretty cool

#6 and #16 are clever.

#16 probably saved themselves $400+ by not buying the fancy ones.

#12 looks like something I'd do. I did do something similar for my watch when one of the straps broke. Perhaps I'll take a picture and send it in. It's probably not cool enough to make it on here, though.

#12 I've done that once. The screw of my glasses fell out really late at night once. I cut a paper clip, stuck it through the hole, and bent it over. It worked till I could go get it fixed.
