I think we give entirely too much power to balls. If he had any, he'd be treating you right and you wouldn't need to (I realize I'm assuming here, so I apologize if I'm wrong).
You have all the strength inside you that you already need, it's just been hiding so long you're not sure where to find it. You will make it.

Also just keep envisioning your future after having left. It eventually gets so appealing that you have the strength to make it happen. That always worked for me…;)

Awe, this actually makes me really sad. There is so much out there for you, and you deserve it the most. Don't wait for something to change, because it more than likely won't. And if it isn't going to change, then you will never be happy. Focus on what is important, no matter what situation you're in (house, kids, etc.).
