oh my gosh, #54 totally made me cry. that's so cute!

    • Smitty

      Me too…

I think that for the first year, it may have been appropriate for that florist to deliver the flowers in person and explain the preparations that had been made…

Without context, this could be creepy & weird. In context it is heartbreakingly sweet.

What happens years later down the road when she's remarried, I wonder if she will still want the bouquets showing up?

  • Christysmom97

  • socalmarti

#54 I'd rather be Forever Alone than settle for less than this! What a beautiful story!

    • JESSE

That is the unfortunate truth. Men have to walk such a thin line between bad-boy and Mr. affectionate it is almost impossible to please you. If there is even a hint of excitement to be with you, your attraction for us only extinguishes further. I have been taking an academic approach to dating and women for the past 7 years, trying to become a more well-rounded, attractive person, but the progress I've made seems negligible. Today's women have standards that exceed their grasp.

      • Josh

Brother you speak the truth! After years of being the flower giver, I'll cook for you guy, nice guy, etc. I lost many gf's for someone more "exciting" funny thing is I'm batting 100 that those ladies wanted me back a month, or year, even years later. I don't take them back. And now I'm 36 and can't seem to remember the last time I bought flowers for a woman. I still think I'm deep down the sweet guy but ladies get an earful of cockiness outta me for many months now, it's the wall they built. Women are easier when you act pompous I now know. Too bad I don't want "it" like I'm 18 anymore. I want like this photos. Fine line is right. I am Noah but Alli is an enigma.

        • guest

Maybe you're just not dating the right girls. I'm a 25 year old woman who is looking for nothing more than a steady, dependable man. Everything else is icing.

          • Kristin

Hang in there, men! My hubby is the flower bringer, dinner cooker type, and he landed me:) There are women out there who would love nothing more than a kind and thoughtful dude….she just might not look like the super model you're probably hoping she looks like. If you want women to give you a chance, make sure you're giving them a fair shot too:) I have too many guy friends who complain about being alone, but they keep going after women who are superficial beauty queen-types. Just sayin.'

  • student-tastic

#54 Wow! This totally made me cry!

It took me a few minutes here to realize you mean crying, hahaha. I feel really silly for not getting it right away. (p.s. it's bawling when you're crying, balling is slang!)

#54 is full of it. True story that happened to Jack Benny's wife. And her name sure wasn't Sue Johnston. Plagarizing someone elses love story tells me Sue is Forever Alone

  • Cassy

Even though they may be good looking guys, I never think men in army uniforms are sexy, because war just isn't sexy.

    • Eric

      THANK YOU Cassy

    • 12345678

I am 100% with you. Anything military repulses me. But i am a war-child so i am allowed to say that.
