I have a paparazzi friend, most of his business is from the celebrities' publicists calling his agency and telling him where and when someone will be somewhere, a lot of the time they are carrying a designer bag (guess who gets cutbacks from that designer; the celeb and that pap.)

yet without the pooparazzi, these people would simply be the court jesters that they are. So sad that teachers are paid like street sweepers while entertainers are idolized like gods.

I never feel sorry for these people, you know the vast majority of them arrange these shots in advance and often get paid for it too. Also, if they don't like it they can move somewhere other than LA. How often do you see Paparazi shots of Nicole Kidman? Pretty much only at the LAX airport

On the other hand I do think it should be illegal to take, sell and publich photographs of minors without written consent.
