#3 #10 #20. Good ideas
#12 I go unusually OCD on it, by checking it 3-5 times… Does that count?
I thought I was the only one who did that! lol
All of these are brilliant. But #19? Lol
I know, I was gonna make a snarky comment about finding Doritos in the woods until I realized they're one of my favorite drunk camping foods
hikers sometimes keep a unaired bag or doritos or potatoe chips for this purpose specifically
PLEASE MAKE THIS POST A REGULAR!!
Except this post was entirely stolen from odder.com
#1 yup good idea #15 I started doing this now
#15 – the bagel button on a toaster does the same thing.
thanks, will try it out
#6 – "Low English skills" ……… sounds offensive, like everyone in the world should try to know English.
or maybe because this site is posted in English…..
It is like saying America has "Low Chinese Skills" or "Low German Skills" or "Low Italian Skills"……give it a break and don't be a debbie downer, Suri.
America DOES have "Low Chinese skills" and "Low pretty much any other language Skills" … However im pretty sure this wasn't ment to be offensive. Try not to take everything SOO seriously.
With Love,A "Low Russian Skilled" Berry
I understand the writer's intent, but yeah saying,
"Take a picture of places you need to go when traveling to a place where you don't know the language" might have been more appropriate.
Its totally a great use of your time to try to please absolutely everyone, including total strangers, for every second of every minute of your life. Its also something that is plausibly accomplishable.
#17 does NOT work!
It does.. I've been doing that for a year or so since I first read that tip and it has worked every time for me.
Works everytime for me. But it must be a wooden spoon it doesn't work as well with plastic.
I've had it boil over a couple of times.
#8 & #20 are pretty awesome!
#17….wait really? no matter what?!?!?!?
YES, this really does work every time. It has to been a wood spoon though. I use this trick all the time… that way I can leave the kitchen for a minute and know that my pot won't boil over.
Nope. Not for me anyway

#12 I always try to do this to remind myself that I DID turn off my flat iron or curling iron before I left the house!
#12 Forget the front door. I'm always terrified I'm going to come home to a burned down house because I left my straightener on…
If you have problem remember if you turned off an appliance or locked the door or took a pill, I find it helps to say to yourself (outloud if you can) "I took my pill" or "I let the cat in".
Usually it's more like, yes dummy, you did turn your straightener off and no the house will not burn down
I like most of these. *favourited*

MIND = BLOWN!
Such genius in one post!
Good ideas. #7 #9 #25
#25 know thats amazing!
#12 I always say "I'm locking the door" over and over again in a weird voice. I do that when I leave work too. I'm so used to locking the door behind me, I never really remember doing it. I've gotten halfway home and turned around to check because I couldn't remember locking it.
#17 I can never get it to work. The water just boils up around the spoon.
#17 works for me!
#25 just use binder clips! They work great and come in lots of sizes.
#3 – they sell waterproofing stuff, and they're easier to find than beeswax
fantastic points altogether, you simply gained a logo new|a new} reader. What might you suggest about your submit that you simply made some days ago? Any certain?
Don't do that.
A good turn will send it sideway.
