15 Sex Scenes Every 2000s Kid Sat Through Awkwardly With Their Parents

Remember when you watched that one movie with your parents as a kid…the one that had that risque scene they maybe didn’t mean for you to see? That was always a fun conversation, wasn’t it? Or lack of one. Sometimes it was just an unrelenting uncomfortable silence while you looked anywhere, but at the screen or their faces.

To make matters worse, this scenario usually occured during those awkward “awakening” years, when you really didn’t want to talk to your parents about anything remotely sexual. Yet, there you were sitting in the same room with them while two very naked people went at it on screen. If you were at this age in the late 90s/early 2000s, you probably endured this awkwardness during one of the following famous films.

Particularly, this uncrossing of the legs scene.

That dramatic unraveling of Gwyneth Paltrow’s chest bandage, though.

Sarah Michelle Gellar was all kinds of adventurous in this late ’90s flick.

Remember this whipped cream bikini?

The pie scene was just the beginning of the sexual shenanigans.

Be honest, this one scarred you and your parents for a while.

When William Miller loses his virginity in a threesome.
