Margot Robbie is one of those leggy, blonde actresses that seems to function on an entirely different level than the rest of us homely humans. She is truly like a magnificent alien. How is it possible to have such refined bone structure, combined with such irresistible onscreen panache?
And now, it turns out that Robbie is not only really freaking good-looking, she’s also a big ol’ Harry Potter dork. Which somehow makes her infinitely relatable, dammit.
During an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Kimmel surprised Robbie by confronting the actress with an old photograph which revealed the true extent of her Harry Potter fandom. The snapshot features a 13-year-old Margot, happily curled up with her a Harry Potter volume and a mug of tea/butterbeer.
Robbie was more than a little embarrassed about the found photo, but took it all in good humor. She also revealed that there is more geekiness to the pic than originally meets the eye.
“I’m wearing glasses that I don’t actually need, I have 20/20 vision,” Margot confessed to Kimmel. “And I lied to get glasses so I could look like Harry Potter.”
The specs are a solid choice, Margot. Also, check out that dark, artistic turtleneck (which Harry would totally approve of, for whatever it’s worth).
THE RESEMBLANCE IS TRULY UNCANNY. Are we sure Margot Robbie isn’t actually the real Harry Potter?

I’m just saying: we’ve never seen them in the same room at the same time.
Regardless, one thing is abundantly clear: the geek-dom is truly real, and even celebrities are hit with the nerdy lightning bolt (pun intended?). Check out the entirety of Robbie’s interview/mortification below:
