13 Songs From 2006 That Will Never, Ever Get Old

It’s been a decade since 2006. Let that sink in for a minute. What were you doing 10 years ago? Better yet, what music were you listening to? The nostalgia just got so real didn’t it? For better or worse, time is always flying by faster than we can handle.

At least we have music to take us back to those awkward grade school days whenever we feel like escaping the world of “adulthood”, even if only for a short while. These 2006 chart-toppers were probably on more than one of the mix CD’s you made in your teen years and we’re bringing them back to give you a break from, you know, real life.

Will those hips ever lie? Probably not. It’s literally impossible to sit still to Shakira. My “somewhat-hips” are already shaking to this as we speak.

3. Nelly Furtado feat. Timbaland – “Promiscuous”
