If you are one of the fortunate few who never had to take out student loans, count your lucky stars because they are a fucking nightmare. Imagine selling part of your soul and then maybe an arm and a leg and then drowning. Student debt feels a little something like that.
You work your ass off to get an education and with your degree comes a bank statement so far in the negatives you start to wonder if it was all worth it. While you know (or you should know) deep down that it will all pay off in the end, it doesn’t always seem that way.
Is there even a light at the end of this broke-ass tunnel? A question I ask myself on the daily. The struggle is so real, but at least we aren’t alone.
