Just two days ago, Justin Bieber was threatening all of his devoted Beliebers, promising to set his Instagram to private if people didn’t stop hating on (read: commenting snake Emojis on) selfies of himself with alleged new girlfriend Sofia Richie. He not only made good on that promise, he did us one better— or worse, hard to say— he deleted his IG altogether.
This unexpected social media eradication came on the footsteps of Selena Gomez’ ambiguously apologetic Snapchat; “What I said was selfish and pointless,” she wrote, perhaps recalling that time she got herself involved in all that Kimye/Taylor Swift drama.
But, as mentioned, the damage was done. Just as #SelenaEndedJustinParty came to a close, #JustinDeactivatedParty began, because Twitter literally has nothing better to do than revel in this drama and neither do I.
But while many of us are over here in the dark recesses of Twitter cackling with glee, a lot of former (?) Beliebers are pissed.
