Take a minute or take a day to let this mind-blowing news set in. A Gilmore Girls fan fest is upon us and it’s happening sooner than you think, as in October 21st-23rd of this year soon. The three day event will take place in the real town that inspired the fictional Stars Hollow, Washington Depot, Connecticut. This fantasy we could only dream of was created by husband and wife team Jennie and Marcus Whitaker who are, of course, also huge GG fanatics.

So what will take place at this fan festival?

Besides endless amounts of squealing and on my part, most likely fainting…The event will include all sorts of Gilmore-inspired activities. According to the official website, there will be “tea at the inn, a cake tasting at the market, coffee at the hardware store, a staged knit-a-thon, a Friday Night Dinner and photo opps ‘on the green’ to name a few.” It’s going to feel like you’re actually in the show. Not to mention, there will be screenings of the pilot and series finale along with ten other Gilmore Girls episodes, as voted on by fans.

Some of the actual cast will be there too!

Festival organizers revealed that many of the beloved characters are set to appear at the event. Jackson Douglas (Jackson), Rini Bell (Lulu), Aris Alvarado (Caesar), Biff Yeager (Tom), Kelly Bishop (Emily), Yanic Truesdale (Michel), Vanessa Marano (April) and Ted Rooney (Morey) are on the list AND there’s an open invitation for more cast members to attend. Can they just all come? Please! We won’t make it weird, okay not that weird anyway.

Tickets to the festival are limited, duh, so you may want to get yours like NOW.

Both general admission and VIP are currently available, but they won’t be there for long! Check out more info HERE and maybe, just maybe we’ll see you there.
