Here’s Why People Are Going Crazy Over The Newest ‘Bachelor’

With the dramatic (yet not surprising) end to JoJo’s season of The Bachelorette, fans were left anxiously wondering who would be chosen as the next Bachelor. Would it be the lovable country man Luke? Or maybe the former pro swimmer Robbie?

In the mean time, viewers have been tuning in to the less addicting, yet still entertaining weeks of Bachelor in Paradise. During Tuesday night’s After Paradise wrap up, the season 21 Bachelor was finally announced. Let’s just say, it’s not who we expected.

The two-time Bachelorette runner-up (season 10 with Andi Dorfman and season 11 with Kaitlyn Bristowe) also starred on the most recent season of Bachelor in Paradise. So I guess, spoiler alert: he doesn’t end up with either Amanda Stanton or Jen Saviano. Tbh, I wasn’t his biggest fan at first, but it’s becoming increasingly more difficult not to be on #TeamNick.

Safe to say he’s kind of a Bachelor veteran.

Though Viall seems to not have the best luck with women in his past, he’s hoping the 4th time is the charm. We don’t easily grow tired of seeing that adorable face, but for his sake we hope he has better luck this time too.

When asked how he was going to prepare to be the next Bachelor, he responded “I’ve certainly had the practice.” Ahem, yes you have. It’s time for the big games now, Mr. Viall.

Bachelor Nation obviously had some opinions about the announcement.

This season should be one for the books, but then again aren’t they all?
