One of the best (and worst) things about the Internet is that nothing ever dies. That being said, there are some pictures and/or memes that stand out among the rest and continue to flood our newsfeeds much longer than we care for.
The latest seemingly immortal meme is a picture of Arthur’s clenched fist. We know you’ve seen this a million and one times, but a creative artist put a new feminine twist on it and we can’t get enough.

By now, you probably recognize this picture…
The clenched fist of beloved children’s cartoon Arthur has become a common vehicle for hilarious memes.
You have to admit, they’re pretty great.
Then, artist Hannah Hill gave the meme a feminine twist and it’s brilliant.
She captions the photo: “Spent about 15 hours stitching this feminist art meme.”
15 hours!? Well, it definitely paid off.
She shared her tedious artistic process on Instagram as well.
“Some progress shots 👀 It was so hard not to spill the beans about this but I thought it would be more epic to post the end result.”
She couldn’t have been more right, all that hard work for a phenomenal finished product. Of course, we have to give some credit to her adorable cat.
Hill is beyond pleased with the internet’s reactions.
She responded: “Thanks for everyones reactions!! Im literally so happy with it and just glad it was met with such warmth and appreciation!!”
Thank you Hannah! We need more women like you in our lives.
