11 Songs For Anyone Who Wants To Be Left TF Alone

Let’s be honest, as much as we love people (especially our readers) we all have those days when we’d rather be alone. As in curled up in bed hiding away from everyone, ALONE. Sometimes people are just too much to deal with, it can seriously be exhausting to be around them all day everyday. We could all use a break.

So on those occasions when you’d rather just be with your favorite 3 (me, myself & I), these are a few tracks you can tune out the world with.

1. Tame Impala – “Solitude is Bliss”

If you’ve never listened to Tame Impala, now is the time to start. This indie-rock group has gotten me through more struggle than I care to admit and this track in particular is perfect for a day spent in solitude.

2. Get Set Go – “I Hate Everyone”

The title of this track alone is probably enough justification for its spot on our playlist. Somedays you just hate everyone and Get Set Go can totally relate. This ironically upbeat tune is about literally hating everybody and it’s awesome.

3. James Blake – “Retrograde”

Not going to lie, I have a special place in my heart for James Blake. That being said, this track is one of my favorites to crank up when I’m alone in my room or driving solo late at night.

4. John Mayer – “In Repair”

I know many of you might roll your eyes when you see John Mayer on our list, but seriously give this T-Swift ex a chance. It’s the perfect addition to any introspective sound track.

5. Bjork – “Cocoon”

Yes, this music video is weird AF, but the song really speaks to me on those days when I want to get away and hide in my own little cocoon.

6. No Doubt – “It’s My Life”

We’ll take any excuse to throw in a No Doubt song, sorry not sorry. However, this song really does speak to the sentiment of wanting to be left TF alone. It’s my life, don’t you forget…

7. Pink- “Leave Me Alone (I’m lonely)”

Though not one of her chart-topping tracks, this aptly titled Pink song fits perfectly on our list. Cutting off the phone, leave me the fuck alone!

8. Green Day – “Boulevard Of Broken Dreams”

I walk this lonely road, the only one that I have ever known… Not only is this track reminiscent of our angsty teenage years, but it’s ideal for those days when you’d rather walk TF alone.

9. G-Eazy x Bebe Rexha – “Me, Myself & I”

We know this song has been fairly beat to death by every radio station, but it’s still amazing and it doesn’t get more solo than “Me, Myself, & I.” Poor G-Eazy, he just wants a night alone.

10. SOHN – “Lessons”

SOHN is one of the best artists to listen to on those days when you want to plug in your headphones and ignore everyone and everything. The music video is also oddly calming.

11. Alessia Cara – “Here”

Another song that commercial radio stations have completely oversaturated, Alessia Cara’s “Here” expresses literally every feeling I get when I decide to go to a house party. No thank you.
