Amy Schumer is starring alongside a bunch of other hilarious women like Goldie Hawn, Wanda Sykes, and Joan Cusack for an upcoming movie. All we know from IMDB is that it’s currently referred to as Untitled Mother-Daughter/Action Comedy Project, the cast shot it in Hawaii, and it comes out in 2017. Looks like Hawn is playing Schumer’s mom, which is amazing and perfect.
Also amazing and perfect? That while on set, the cast decided to do their own own parody version of Beyonce’s “Formation” video.
The music video originally premiered on TIDAL on Friday, but you can watch it on Schumer’s YouTube channel now.
So, it’s safe to say that the funny recreation of the Lemonade hit was signed off on by Bey herself (being that she’s a TIDAL owner). Amy originally revealed the video with a link to TIDAL, explaining the inspo behind the clip:
The video features twerking, Schumer’s stunt double Meredith Richardson, riding on stuffed horses near a Sanrio store, and everyone looking grungy in the jungle.
Oh, also, “Texas Bama” tees, Schumer in a super-dirty teeny halter dress, Hawn looking badass as usual (kinda reminiscent of her role in the classic must-see comedy Private Benjamin, actually), and Sykes, Cusack, and other cast members lip-syncing and busting out their best Bey-inspired moves. In short: They slay, OK?
Kweens! I mean, did you expect anything less?
