By now, many of you have inevitably realized that we have a deeply-rooted obsession with tattoos. There’s just something incredibly intoxicating about using the human body as a canvas, particularly when that canvas is attached to a celebrity.
One of our favorite celebs Cara Delevingne, who’s infamous for her myriad of unique tattoos, has added yet another meaningful piece to her body ink collection and we’re kind of in love with it.
Cara Delevingne has an affinity for distinctive body art and her latest tattoo is no exception.
According to Yahoo Beauty, Delevingne’s new serpent-inspired tat was designed by her bestie Amber Heard and was inked by the same artist that Drake recently visited for his own brand new flaming skull tattoo, Dr. Woo. While many fans have speculated that her new tat could be related to the Slytherin mascot from Harry Potter since she also has a lion immortalized on her finger (Gryffindor), the piece was not related.
The model/actress told The Sun that her new reptilian ink is “about re-invention, shedding of old skin, new beginnings, new life.” She added that the snake’s tail contains the word ‘feral,’ because Delevingne believes herself to be feral.
Though the tabloids have made assumptions that this symbol of new beginnings could have to do with Delevingne’s split from St. Vincent, we like to think not everything has to do with relationships and love or lack thereof.
