We all love an animated Disney classic turned into a live-action film. But when the teaser trailer for Beauty and the Beast hit the web this past spring, it made a major splash, wracking up a record 91.8 million viewings on the day it was posted—beating Star Wars: The Force Awakens (88 million views), Captain America: Civil War (61 million views), and Avengers: Age of Ultron (55 million views). Obviously, the masses can’t freakin’ wait to see Emma Watson and Dan Stevens bring Belle and the Beast to life.
Now, the full, official trailer is here, having premiered on Good Morning America this morning. And it’s everything you imagined…and then some.
You get to see even more of what Roberts, Stevens, and the brilliant ensemble cast—Luke Evans as Gaston, Kevin Kline as Maurice, Josh Gad as LeFou, Gugu Mbath-Raw as Plumette, Audra McDonald as Madame de Garderobe, Ewan McGregor as Lumière, and Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, and Stanley Tucci as Cadenza, whew!—will look like.
It’s all very intense. And that’s without the IMAX 3-D effects.
Right? The music! The sets! The effects! It’s almost too much. Wild to think that it’ll be on big screens in about five months, premiering on March 17, 2017.
